Overview: The 7-Day Window
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, you must initiate a return request within 7 days of the delivery date. Any requests raised after this 7-day window will unfortunately not be entertained under any circumstances.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be completely unused, unwashed, and unaltered, with all original tags securely attached and original packaging intact.
Authentic Handblock Print Characteristics (Not Defects)
Before raising a return request, please understand the beautiful, imperfect nature of authentic handblock printing. These are not manufacturing defects and are strictly not eligible for returns or exchanges:
We use natural dyes mixed by hand. The final colour on the fabric can vary slightly from batch to batch, and may appear slightly different in person compared to your phone or computer screen due to lighting and screen calibration.
Our fabrics are printed by human hands stamping wooden blocks thousands of times. Minor overlaps, slight misalignments, or tiny dye drops are the hallmark of true human craftsmanship, distinguishing our garments from machine-printed fast fashion.
Natural dyes often bleed slightly during the first few washes. This is completely normal and expected. We strongly recommend washing our clothes separately in cold water.
What Is Eligible For Return?
We take quality control very seriously, but human errors occasionally happen. Your item is eligible for return or exchange only under the following conditions:
- Manufacturing Defect: The garment has a tear, a broken zipper, severely unstitched seams, or significant physical damage upon arrival.
- Incorrect Item Received: You received a different size, style, or print than what you originally ordered.
Strictly Non-Returnable Items
Regardless of the 7-day window, the following categories are permanently exempt from returns or exchanges:
- Items purchased during a flash sale, clearance event, or using a promotional discount code.
- Customised or made-to-measure orders tailored specifically for you.
- Any item that has been worn, washed, perfume-sprayed, or damaged by the customer.
- Items missing their original SA Fab tags or packaging.
The Return Process
If your item meets the strict eligibility criteria (defective or wrong item), here is how to process your return smoothly:
Refunds & Exchanges
Once your return passes our physical inspection, a refund will be initiated to your original payment method. It typically takes 7 to 10 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account or credit card statement, depending on your bank's processing times.
If you prefer an exchange for a defective item, we will dispatch the replacement piece as soon as the defective item passes our inward inspection. Please note that because our collections are handcrafted in small batches, exact replacements are subject to fabric and print availability. If the item is out of stock, a full refund will be provided.
Order Cancellations
Because we process orders quickly to ensure fast delivery, cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours of placing the order. Once an order has been packed and dispatched from our facility, it cannot be cancelled or intercepted.
